
This course is designed to provide learners with a clear understanding of radicalisation, the UK’s prevention strategy, and the responsibility individuals and organisations hold in identifying and responding to potential risks. Radicalisation can occur in any community and may involve a variety of extremist ideologies, including religious, political, and single-issue extremism.
By the end of the course, learners will understand what radicalisation is, become familiar with the Prevent strategy, recognise different forms of extremism, identify early warning signs, and know how to respond appropriately in line with safeguarding procedures.

Duration: Online 2 – 3 Hours
Learning Aims & Outcomes include: defining radicalisation, understanding extremism and vulnerability, summarising the aims of the UK Prevent strategy, recognising risk factors, identifying online and offline indicators, responding to concerns, understanding the Channel programme, and applying Prevent principles within professional roles to promote resilience and inclusion.
Assessment: The online assessment includes 20 multiple-choice questions with a 100% pass mark. Learners receive instant results and may retake the assessment as many times as needed at no additional cost.
