These qualifications are designed for learners aged 19 and above. There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for these qualifications. However, learners may find it helpful if they’ve already achieved a Level 2 qualification.
In order to complete the Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement qualification, learners must achieve all the mandatory units.

This qualification is ideal for individuals who want to become qualified assessors for learners in the workplace, particularly those involved in assessing vocational achievement and competency. This includes assessing learners or employees in real job roles and work-based environments.
Learners who achieve this qualification could progress to:
Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA)
Level 4/5 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement
Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) or Verifier Roles
Diploma in Education and Training (Level 4 or Level 5)
Vocational Trainer or Tutor Roles
Workplace Assessors and Apprenticeship Assessors
This qualification may be useful to a wide range of learners studying across a number of sectors or areas.
This course is assessed through a series of assignments, which are submitted to your tutor for marking. No external examination or practical work is required, so you can complete all assessed work from home.
